AZ Gives Day
What is AZ Gives Day?
Arizona Gives Day is an online giving event to benefit local nonprofits, founded Jan. 1st 2013. Arizona Gives Day has helped raise more than $30 million for Arizona nonprofits since 2013. Participating nonprofits also receive training, marketing support and a chance to win bonus prize money leading up to Arizona Gives Day, a powerful 24-hour online giving movement that unites Arizonans around causes they believe in.
Why GIVE UNITED?
This AZ Gives Day, the fight for quality education is more critical than ever. We know quality early education is one of the best investments for the future economic health of our community. Every dollar invested in Early Education yields a $12 economic impact. High-quality early learning is often underfunded and out of reach for many families. Please help us reach our educational fundraising goal and GIVE UNITED TODAY!
Your United Way of Tucson is working hard with schools, teachers, families, partners, and local government to improve educational and life outcomes for children, youth, and young adults. Last year, United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona and our partner programs distributed 174,757 books to children. Now more than ever we must work to improve educational and life outcomes for children, youth, and young adults by advancing equity and excellence in education in Tucson and Southern Arizona.
