UNITED WAY OF TUCSON AND SOUTHERN ARIZONA
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service 2023
United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona is proud to present their first annual MLK Day of Service. While Martin Luther King, Jr. Day became a federal holiday in 1983, it wasn’t until 1994 that it became a National Day of Service. To this day, it is the only federal holiday that is designated as a National Day of Service. MLK Day is used as a day of service to continue Dr. King’s legacy of achieving a Beloved Community. Please join us in honoring Dr. King by volunteering to help us all build a better community.
Monday January 16th
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is observed on the third Monday of January. Join us on Jan. 16th as we continue his vision toward building a better community for all.
